Enhancing sustainable choices in the development of infrastructure projects has always been our priority.
With the aim of identifying the project that best fits into the territorial context of reference, over the last decade Italferr has developed sustainability methodologies and protocols to assess the capacity of an infrastructure project to generate a positive transformation of the territories and to sanction the concrete commitment in the pursuit of sustainable development goals (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs) in line with the most recent directions of the European Green Deal and the NRRP.
New sustainability methodologies and protocols are, in fact, essential operational tools in promoting an innovative engineering concept that interprets each project as an opportunity to dialogue with the communities involved, focusing in each territory and environmental context on local needs, enhancing the area of reference and communicating to the community the benefits induced by the implementation of the structures in a clear and transparent way.
