The Anji Khad Bridge is an iconic structure spanning the Anji Khad river along the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway line, designed to connect Kashmir to India’s northwestern borders. Measuring 725 meters in length and 196 meters in height, the bridge features a 473-meter cable-stayed section, with a central span of 290 meters and an asymmetrical support tower. This unique design makes it India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge.

Since 2016, Italferr has been responsible for the design and construction supervision of this structure, which symbolizes the future of Indian Railways and Italferr’s commitment to infrastructure development in the country.
