Italferr with the FS Group at KEY Energy 2025

From March 5th  to 7th, Italferr participated in KEY 2025 – The Energy Transition Expo, the main European event dedicated to energy transition, efficiency, and renewable energies.

At the Rimini Fiera premisis, an event that this year saw record numbers with its 90,000 square meters of exhibition space, 20 pavilions, and over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries.

KEY Energy has now become a reference point for companies, institutions, and professionals operating in the field of renewable energies, energy efficiency, and sustainable mobility. A hub of innovation that offered a comprehensive overview of the most advanced solutions for decarbonization and the development of an increasingly green and digital economy.

In this frame, at the FS Group stand, Italferr had the opportunity to present the achievements and challenges it is engaged in together with the other companies of the Group: making the railway infrastructure the driver of the country's energy transition, with innovative solutions for more efficient and low-emission mobility.

An important opportunity for discussion and exchange of good practices, as well as an opportunity for reflection and sharing on the challenges and opportunities offered by the FS Group's Industrial Plan. Among the topics discussed: projects for increasingly sustainable railway and road infrastructures, focusing on digitalization, integrated design, and reduction of environmental impact; large photovoltaic plants (1GW by 2029 to "move trains with the sun"); the crucial role of energy efficiency in the redevelopment and design of Stations, Workshops, and Technological Plants.
