Italferr designs and builds depots and workshops for rolling stock in Italy and abroad. Among the most important plants, in terms of complexity and strategic value, are: the Dynamic Multipurpose Plant (IDP) in Naples, the flagship for the entire fleet of Italian HS trains; the new Current Maintenance Plant (IMC) at the Turin Smistamento shunting site; the IMC in Bologna Centrale, the first upgrading project developed directly with BIM methodology for full train maintenance operations; the IMC in Milano Martesana intended for the maintenance of ETR 1000 HS trains; the OML in Savona soon to be commissioned; and the International Maintenance Plants in Ankara and Istanbul for trains destined for the new Turkish High Speed line currently being implemented.
