Italferr has formalised its 10-year business plan within the FS Group's 2022-2031 Business Plan.
Italferr's activities are related to several key challenges: grounding the huge amount of investment in the road and rail sector, innovative technologies on all infrastructure asset classes, integrated approach with respect to climate change to ensure resilience of works, and acceleration in sustainability and stakeholder engagement.
Italferr will work alongside Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, as well as with ANAS and Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, carrying on its historical vocation as the engineering reference point for the Group, strengthening its offer of digital innovation and sustainable engineering services, focusing its efforts on NRRP projects, but without neglecting strategic no-captive markets such as EU, India, Canada and the US.
Italferr, through its multidisciplinary approach consolidated over time, affirms its leadership in new markets in Italy and abroad, asserting itself among the major players also in engineering services for urban transport systems. An engineering vision that focuses on a conduct aimed at modal optimisation in which integrated rail/road, metro and tramway services constitute the backbones of the overall mobility system.
From the design of complex systems such as the Doha metro and, on domestic grounds, the Turin metro and the Genoa monorail, to studies and Project Management Consultancy such as for the Lima and Bogota, Kanpur and Agra metros, Italferr is carrying out numerous projects in the urban and metropolitan transport sectors worldwide.
