Sharing international know-how in the field of infrastructure

Italferr accompanies the Indian delegation on a visit to European construction sites

Italferr's engineering know-how knows no bounds and accompanied the delegation of technicians from India, engaged in the RISHIKESH-KARNAPRAYAG LINE HIMALAYA TUNNEL PACKAGE 1 & 8 project, to the construction sites of the Brenner Base Tunnel (BBT) and the Galleria San Giorgio on the Brescia-Verona AV/AC line.

The Study Tour, contractually planned for the client RVNL (Rail Vikas Nigam Limited), aimed to provide technicians with learning opportunities and the exchange of best practices in the tunnel construction sector.

The project, which includes the construction of complex tunnels, is inspired by engineering works of great importance and innovation, and the visit to the Brenner Tunnel represents a strategic opportunity. The BBT, one of the largest tunneling projects in Europe (over 56 km), offers a concrete example of the advanced techniques and challenges faced in large-scale underground works.

This collaboration promotes not only the professional growth of the participants, but also the sharing of international know-how in the field of infrastructure.
